As AWE’s Co-Creator and Chief Services Officer (CSO), Tejal Tarro, is known for her authenticity, empathetic listening and a deep understanding of human challenges in the workplace. She is the creator of AWE’s unique services that are deeply intentional learning experiences anchored in being “evolution ready” through emotional agility, inclusive engagement and authentic influence. A practitioner of mindfulness combined with a deep passion and vision for creating equity and access for those who are marginalized in the workplace, Tejal approaches her work with a sense of awareness, enlightenment, belonging, and inclusion.
Tejal’s extensive experience includes the areas of organizational development, change management, facilitation and coaching. A deep commitment to accelerate women’s advancement, Tejal has served on the boards of Vision 2020 and RI Commission on Women. Additionally, she has serves as an ambassador for 10,000 Small Businesses supporting the needs of small business owners.
Tejal lives in Rhode Island with her husband, two teenage boys and her beloved dog, where in addition to juggling the constant chaos of being a working mother, she focuses on personal growth and self-care through yoga, meditation, research, writing and enjoying nature.
