At AWE we are committed to helping individuals and teams achieve their personal best while being agile and thoughtful during the pandemic– using this experience to build resilience with the AWE Human Lens of Leadership. With more than 90% of families confined to their homes and parents, caregivers, and families struggling to supervise remote learning while also working we went to the experts to help us provide support and important updates for achieving digital wellness.

Join us as we welcome Dr. Michael Rich M.D., the founder and Director of the Center for Media and Child Health at Boston Children”s Hospital, as he provides practical solutions based on scientific research to help parents, caregivers and extended families struggling with how to manage relationships with technology– now amplified even more with life, work and school all concentrated at home. Dr. Rich is a practicing pediatrician, an associate professor at Harvard Medical School, and is known for his valuable blog as the “Mediatrician.”

Guest Speaker, Dr. Michael Rich

Dr. Michael Rich, MD, MPH is the founder and director of the Center on Media and Child Health at Boston Children’s Hospital and Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School. The center is the first evidence-based medical program addressing physical, mental, and social issues associated with digital technology.  Dr. Rich is also known as the “Mediatrician” for his blog that offers research-based, practical answers to questions about media use.  He is the recipient of the American Academy of Pediatricians Holroyd-Sherry Award, authored numerous papers and AAP policy statements, testified to the United States Congress, and makes regular national press appearances.
