In any workplace, competition is inevitable – you compete with a colleague for a promotion, you push yourself or your team to perform better, you approach negotiation to win, you compete to up-sell an account, there is always a person you compare yourself to.

But how can competition in the workplace be a good thing? How can it motivate us or make us better? At this breakfast, we reverse the lens on “competing”. We discuss and explore the benefits to compete and collaborate through the lens of “supportive rivalry”. Most importantly, participants leave this event with a new perspective that shifts their mindset from a competing in a sum-zero game to competition that is respectful and productive.
